Candle Care

Burning Tips

Your candle has a memory, so it’s important to allow your candle to achieve a full melt pool—where the wax melts all the way to the edges of the container—on the very first burn before extinguishing it. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn in the future. To keep your candle burning evenly and safely, burn it for about 2–4 hours per session.

Wick Trimming

Before each burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This helps prevent smoking, soot buildup, and excessive flickering. This helps extend the life of your candle.

How to reuse jars

Once your candle has fully burned, wash out the jar with warm soapy water to remove any leftover wax. These jars make great containers for small plants, storage, or new candle refills.

Candle Safety

To enjoy your candle safely:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep away from children, pets, and flammable items.

  • Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

  • Avoid drafts to prevent uneven burning.

  • Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn.

  • Don’t burn the candle all the way down—leave at least ½ inch of wax.

  • Let the candle cool before moving it.

Following these tips helps you enjoy your candle safely every time.
